  • Built in 1903 by the Cassiar Packing Co. at Inverness Passage on the Skeena River
  • Ownership was transferred to the J.S. Macmillan family in 1910 who operated the cannery continuously for 80 years
  • Cannery linked to Highway 16 in 1959
  • Last operating cannery on the Skeena River
  • Sold in 1983 to Ocean Fisheries Ltd.
